Electronic Synth-Punk Rap
MEMBERS:
Ultra (vocals)
Tony Robot (beat machine)
Korgenbutz (synths)
HOMETOWN:
Louisville, Kentucky USA
ORIGIN:
Beginning as a short film concept in
2003, ULTRA PULVERIZE took the stage
for the first time on Halloween 2004
and has since been entertaining
crowds anywhere power outlets can be
found. The beats are all tapped out
by hand on a beat machine - live, not
programmed. A Korg Mono/Poly and a
Moog Little Phatty make up the analog
synthesizer arsenal to ensure a vintage
electronic sound. The lyrics are
lightning-quick with a tongue-in-cheek
sensibility.
Influences include: DEVO, Chrome, The Beastie Boys, The Ramones.
